In primeval times, on a lush volcanic island, the egg of a sky lizard is stolen from its nest and left to hatch by itself. Sky lizards are meant to fish from the sky, but when the orphaned hatchling is found by a sea lizard it’s adopted and reared to fish from the water. Unrest ensues as the misplaced fledgling struggles with the unsuitable manner of fishing – until it discovers its power of flight.
Sky Lizard explores the conflict between conformity and authenticity in a pictorial format that showcases the importance of aligning oneself with what nature intended.

About the Author
As a boy, John Eudicone spent most of his free time reading and drawing. Now, in adulthood, his interests have expanded to include wondering why people get the results they do from life. After much consideration, he’s concluded they’re mostly due to their own behavior and that if what motivated behavior was better understood – and acted on – better results from life could be had. To convey these beliefs, he’s created a story titled “Sky Lizard” that shows what can happen when what’s suggested for us is followed over what nature intended and how to respond when poor results arise.
